1 - Explain how this weeks skill is different than the quotations that we have been learning about in the last three Sentence of the Week work.
2 - Use this week's skill to write 5 sentences telling about something someone said or asked. Use your name in the first and the last sentences.
Here is an example of mine:
Raees said that he could still be Alice from Wonderland even though he was six foot four!
1. Its different because last weeks was an exact quote where as this week it's just explaining what the person said.

ReplyDelete1. your not telling exactly what they had said. its past tense, so they quotations arent needed.
2. a) Delvina said she didnt want to do homeowork anymore.
b) Rex said hes going to play basketball.
c) Spencer asked if I can help him with him homework.
d) Cheyenne said that she could send me a picture of the math homework since I didnt get one.
e) Delvina asked if she can go to the mall with her friends.

ReplyDelete1. This weeks sentence of the week is different from the previous weeks because there is no current dialogue, we are talking about things in past tense.
2. Verda said that she's not feeling well.
Sarah wanted to eat ice cream.
Saqib said he wanted to be a doctor.
Angelo said he wanted to stay longer.
Verda said that she wants to do well in every subject.

ReplyDelete1. this weeks sow does not have quotations. It is also past tense. The sentences are about the main idea of someone talking not word for word what someone said.
2.Tejasv said he is 20ft. tall.
Bob said he got an A on his test.
Bill said he stabbed someone with a pencil.
Joe asked if his zipper was undone.
Tejasv said that he ate his friend.

Check where you have put punctuation. Start your sentences with upper case letters.
Deletetheres really no quotions its just someone stating what someone else said.

You need to start each sentence with an upper case letter and finish them with punctuation.
