Math Reflection Question

Squaring and finding square roots are inverse operations.

For example,

 7 squared = 49
 and
  the squre root of 49 = 7

Sample Question - Find the square root of 64.

To find a square root, we can use 2 methods.

1) Think of a number that, when multiplied by itself, produces 64.

8 x 8 = 64

Or

2) Visualize a square with an area of 64 units squared.
Find it's side length.

It would have 2 sides of 8 units each.

Find a square root for each of the following numbers:

1
25
81
9
16
100
121
225

Which method do you prefer?

    I prefer the 1st method because i find it easier because u just got to multiply the same number to find the square root and so this is easier for me and i prefer this method.

    I prefer method numbeber one. I prefer this method because you have to think of a number that can be mutiplied by itself to produce the answer.I also think this method is particularly simpler for me because I don't need visuals to help me, method number two would be easier for those who prefer visuals to learn math.

    1 = 1x1
    25 = 5x5
    81 = 9x9
    9 = 3x3
    16 = 4x4
    100 = 10x10
    121 = 11x11
    225 = 15x15

    I prefer the first method because I know most of the square roots off by heart, so it's just easier for me.

    I perfer the 1st method because you can just mulitiply 2 numbers instead of visaulizing a square.
    1 = 1
    25 = 5
    81 = 9
    9 = 3
    16 = 4
    100 = 10
    121 = 11
    225 = 15
