It's a Birthday and You Are INVITED!!

In one month, the birthday boy turns 197 years young! Can you guess who this is? The birthdate of this individual is January 11th. Do you know who it is?
I've entered our class in a contest to throw the most creative birthday bash. Some of you have planned a wedding on the moon already, so this should be a cinch. There is a limited budget, but we can have fun with NO budget in our class.
Here is the criteria:

-we need cake, games, guests, presents, music, a venue
-it must be clearly related to the individual whose birthday it is

So, I guess the first thing is, do you know who's birthday it is? What ideas do you have for the party? If your ideas are so-so, then we'll spend one period on the party. If your ideas are fantastico, the we could spend the whole day involved in the party!

My guess is that this person is John A. Macdonald. He was born January 11th, 1815 and so he will be turning 197 this January 11th.

    Yayy!! I love planning parties.
I have no clue who's birthday it is, I'm not sure who lives until they're 197.
    Some ideas..
Venue: Madison Square Garden in New York City, one of the biggest arenas in the world.
Guests: Depends on who the person is, but maybe all of us at Eastdale and our friends, families and special celebrity guests.
Cake: A special one made by Buddy Valastro (the Cake Boss Guy), the birthday boy can decide what he wants the cake to be.
Presents: Rent out an entire mall and have the birthday boy choose what he wants.
Music: Live performances from the guest stars we invite.
The ideas could be tweaked once we know who's birthday it is.

    It is John A. Macdonald!

Maybe we could have Scotish dancers because John A. Macdonald was born in Scotland. We could also have ball dancing. In addition, we could all have roles (each of us could be a father of confederation)as people that would have attended the birthday party if they celebrated in the 1860's. For example, one of us could be George Brown or Alexander Campbell and so on. The type of music that would be played is opera because at that time opera was very popular because it was used in theatres. At the time they watched plays as entertainment so perhaps we could have a small play as entertainment. Therefore, my idea was to recreate the life in the 1860's and throw a party in a way that they would of in that time period.

    EVERYTHING!
modern food and food from that time to compare how time has changed

dress up the whole room making it seem like from that time

all wear 1 same thing that Jhon A. Mcdonald always wore.

john a mcdonald parade ( we can have all these events if we have this party through the hole day! ;):))

we can combine EVERYONES ideas so it will take long throughout the day !

actually get cake that says happy bday to him
or a bunch of cakes ! we can bake them so we would have a lot of cakes and then we all have a slice and give all the teachers some then it would be finished:)
