Homework
Hi 8's,
I'd like you to check out the following link for creating a fake facebook page. Use the information that you know so far and create one for Iqbal. Consider who would be "friended" and what they would say. Some people to consider would be: Craig Kielburger, the factory owner, other kids in the factory, his parents, a north American teenager...
Here's the link. We will be using it for some other projects in class too.

Iqbal Chapter 3
In your own words…
According to Iqbal, “The debt is never erased. It doesn’t matter how good you are.”
How do you think the other child slaves are feeling when Iqbal reveals this information? Do you think
Iqbal is right? Could this happen in Canada?

Tomorrow
Bring ear buds for class tomorrow so you can do some independent computer work. Also, if you didn't have the materials or a picture for art, bring those in as well too so that we can get going on the art. Gym clothes for the few of you who seem to forget;)
Let me know if you are having trouble with your google drive account. I can work on the logins tomorrow with you.

Art Homework - Cubism
On Monday, we will have the opportunity to create some digital cubism of our own. In order to do this, you will need to do two things.
1 - Watch the video at this link about how to use adobe photoshop to create your piece of art. (you will need about 15 minutes to watch this)
2 - Bring a number of items that are interesting in appearance and are interesting to you that you can use to create your photo.
Before Monday, comment on the blog about what you will put in your photo. Remember to include your name in the comment.
