The way metaphors help send a message is they use a lot of imagery and this makes you visualize whats going on and because they use a lot of imagery the audience understands what the poem is about.

ReplyDelete1.My favourite metaphor is "I never follow my agenda " this is my favourite because it resembles my life and how I'm not organized and never follow my plans.
2.metaphores help send messages by usage of descriptive words that help the reader visualize such as adj.
3.this metaphor gives me a image of me when I say I will do something I usually put it to aside and or forget about it.
4.metaphores are not only used in poetry they can also be used in other texts/ media to discribe something with out useing like or as.
5.i think metaphores are important in poetry because it is a element that help the reader understated the event and help them picture the text in their head.

Which was your favourite metaphor created? My favorite metaphor created was The young fighter had a hungry look, the kind you get from not eating for a while because it's not that hard to comprehend and know what expression you'd have from not eating for a while would look like.
ReplyDeleteHow do metaphors help send a message? It helps send a message by giving a clear visual in the readers head by comparing it to something that he/she wont have trouble imagining. Example; a hungry look.
What imagery does this metaphor give you? It sort of gives me the imagery of an angry wolf, so I can compare that to a fighter by aggression.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite metaphor is "Conscience is a man’s compass.
Vincent Van Gogh" because I think it has a lot of meaning behind it and I can relate to it because I would much rather follow my gut than my brain.
I think that metaphors send a message by making you look whats behind it, I think that all metaphors make you imply their meaning.
This metaphor makes me visualize someone that doesn't really follow their mind but follows their gut.
